Very poor service. This is definitely a money-oriented nursing centre. Not recommended to leave your beloved parents or family members under their care.
Especially if you’re unable to monitor closely their service, it is advisable to avoid this centre. Please avoid.
1. Their staff are majority carer. NOT registered nurse. Not trained carer too. (Tangkap muat pekerja). Prior to hiring this centre, i was informed by in charge, that the carer are properly trained. Unfortunately, within my 3 months patiently using their service, i did not receive trained carer. i had many times received staff who were just trained for less than 5 days. 2 staff, had just started working for 2 days at the nursing centre. And on day 3 already sent to patient’s house to care for the bedridden patient all alone!
2. My worst experience was to get a staff who was busily occupied with mobile phone. Very busy that he skipped my father’s tube milk feeding. My father is bedridden, requiring regular milk feeding via NG tube. He skipped the feeding. He skipped my father’s medication. And worse, he did not check my father’s vital sign. Instead he’s just faking the blood pressure, pulse rate and temperature reading. Very irresponsible and cruel to let a bedridden patient lying in hunger.
3. This Shaliscare Centre has an irresponsible and rude In Charge named Achik (Norhasmida). I complained to “Achik”, regarding the negligent staff. And i requested for immediate staff change.
Achik asked me, what did her staff so.
I told her, he skipped my father’s feeding, he skipped my father’s medications and he faked the vital signs reading.
And this achik simply answered.
“Oh tak bagi feeding je ke. Ingatkan kejam apa.”
Hah
Leaving a bedridden patient in hunger is not cruel? Not serving the medication is not cruel? This is like killing a patient already. My father’s blood pressure jump up when he skipped the anti-hypertensive.
4. They have a very expensive rate of RM15 per hour. I paid RM5500 per month, assuming for the good treatment for my father when i am at work, unfortunately just to get such terrible service.
5. Many times, the assigned staff failed to arrive at my father’s house on time. We hired them at 7am, so we can go to work. But the staff didn’t come, causing me to take Emergency Leave many times because nobody is available to look after my father. At some other occasion, the staff arrived at 11am, at 9am. What time do you expect me to go to work if they can’t be punctual?
6. Every time the staff failed to be present, I definitely will call Achik, the in charge. But this Achik will NEVER PICK UP the phone, not until 2-3 hours later. The reason is “Saya bukan bekerja 24 jam.”
She is the IN CHARGE. Higher position, higher pay. Definitely comes with bigger responsibility. When a staff under her care, failed to come, who do you expect the customer will call? Of course lah in charge. Nak call siapa lagi.
7. On many occasions, staff failed to come, or come hours later than time. Tapi cukup masa, the accountant will send you an invoice dengan bayaran penuh.
I requested for amendments in the invoice, but the accountant said.
“kalau staf yg awal datang tu macam mana nak kira? sepatutnya kena ada give & take la. U bayar 7am-7pm sahaja. kalau yg staf datang 10mnit awal tu sy caj juga boleh?”

(Kita kalau masuk kerja pukul 8. Kalau kita datang pukul 7.45 bos bayar gaji extra ke? I wonder the illogical thinking of this accountant trying to charge customer)
8. Despite few discussions with Achik regarding the issues, it still come to a blind end. She has very poor leadership skill, she refused to accept comments or suggestions from others, she can’t handle her own staff properly. Some staff voiced out they’re tensed with Shaliscare management. Overworked, underpaid. The basic salary for the staff is just RM1200-RM1300. Despite government already set a minimum salary of RM1500. i, paid up to RM5500 per month, the staff received only 25% of what i paid. Where does another 75% goes to? No wonder more and more of their staff resigned.
