Rude and zero customer service. I read the previous bad review (on the uncle being very rude) before going, the first time I went was alright I purchased the Chinese dry mushroom. Today was my second visit and I enquired about the same mushroom I only remembered RM88 I don’t even remember whether it was 1kg or half kg, the only Chinese uncle there said it’s now RM90+ and I said ok can I have a look? What are the differences between the types of mushroom (flower and white)? He asked me to go Google myself and walked away rudely. I still patiently went on to choose Lo Hon Guo buy 10 free 1, and add on chrysanthemum tea. I gave up buying mushroom and put the two items to the cashier till and totalled to RM41.90 and took out my credit card. They apply minimum spending of RM50 for credit card usage which I then communicated to them that it’s not right to impose any minimum spending according to Bank Negara and that I could report them. That rude uncle came (another two international workers was serving me at the till) and told me everyone knows about the minimum spending I then said yea and went on to share my personal encounter in my shop that a Bank Negara staff happened to give us a warning because of the same minimum spending we were imposing on others. He then chased me out and said don’t wanna do my business, and so be it.

I hope the business owner is monitoring all these comments but I don’t think so. It’s a shame it’s the childhood Chinese med shop in my neighbourhood, that has deteriorated over years.

This shop is a very traditional sundry / Chinese grocery / 药材铺... you could find the common Chinese medicine and remedies here - tonic ingredients for soup, herbal tea for flu, fever or cough, dried stuff like ginco, barley, block sugar, dates etc... glad the business is still doing well for them, not many shops like this around anymore. Their price is also very reasonable and provide some friendly discounts when you are a regular customer or purchase in bulk.

Went twice, bosses and workers same rude. Not welcoming customers. Especially you bought only small items, they will using a kind of service like you are so troublesome. They elderly man at the cashier with spec very very rude. Will not return and not encourage people buying things from them. Buying online is much cheaper or go to other shop please.

A traditional family owned provision shop which carries a wide range of supermarket food plus Chinese medicine shop. The latter supply various Chinese herbs. Alcohol is sold here as well. The prices of many goods here are reasonable.

Apparently they got some herbs that is cheapest than others. Inside the heart of OUG. The business owner is very helpful. Even teaches you how to make certain soup.

They are selling artificial seaweed from China. Please don't buy! My mother had diarrhoea the other day after eating the seaweed.
