We visited Big Pharmacy around 9 a.m. and bought supplements from a male pharmacist. After our purchase, we continued browsing in the store when another salesperson manning other sections informed us of an expo sale—a joint event by Big Pharmacy and Caring Pharmacy—at City Square. Curious, I went to the expo and discovered discounts on supplements and other items, along with gifts for purchases over a certain amount.

I’m very disappointed that the male pharmacist at Big Pharmacy on Wong Ah Fook did not mention this sale, especially given that I made a sizable purchase and am a member, and he just continue to led us on the purchases when we are taking one more item after another. I have had experiences with other salespeople (of other industries) who have been upfront about upcoming promotions, even their sale only happen weeks later. So I was surprised that the pharmacist didn’t inform me about a sale happening on the same day, just next door. It felt unfair to pay full price when these discounts were available. Thumbs down to the dishonesty of this male pharmacist (wearing glasses) on duty on Sunday 9am 10-Nov.

I will not visit this branch again.

Ahead of time, I place my orders. This way, I give the team enough time to source the necessary quantity of less common medicine, reduce my waiting time on the collection day and help the pharmacist manage the stock.
