Great agency to work with. Both of my current maids are from Maya Impian. Thanabalan does a great job of training, counselling and advising them especially first time maids so they can adapt quickly to a foreign country. Agency is quick to assist with applications, renewals and other matters as required by Immigration Malaysia and Philippines Embassy. I recommend them as a 5 star agency because of extra assistance they gave me with my previous maid.

I had been hiring maids from A.P Maya Impian almost 8 years. All my maids finished contract and one of them even worked for 4 years., It's not the agency but the employer who should treat the maid as humans. We must understand the maids leave their family and young children to earn a living abroad. Treat them good and everything will be ok. Kudos to Mr. Balan and A.P. Maya Impian. Keep up the good job sir.

IMPIAN maid agency : we got in touch with them as they came recommended by friends!
Terrible decision it seems. Their recruitment and selection process is seriously flawed. The only kind of helpers they bring in to Malaysia are those that are coming for “tik-toking” and “spending a holiday at employers expense” who are sponsoring their visa, stay and paying their salaries. All these girls want is to see kl, shop, eat have a good time before they decide to terminate their contract and leave!
We had a fair share of dealing with this agency over a 2 year span where both helpers had the same mind set!
We kept them like family members, took care of them.
Both maids together didn’t even complete one year whereas the agency took money from us for two years of service.

First maid who came to Malaysia and wanted to be a tik toker- had no previous experience of cleaning or cooking which were the basic requirements. The agency didn't even verify their experience or completion of their previous contracts!

She wanted to go back exactly before the 3 months to avoid penalties from her agency. We were willing to train her snd give her more time and she threw out dramas that she has anxiety issues etc.

The agency had to provide us replacement which was with additional charges - second helper stayed back as she had some debts to pay.
The day her debts were cleared she repeatedly said she wants to go back!
Not once had we treated them like maids - only reason to go back was she missed her family which was quite understandable- we suggested she goes for a holiday and comes back which was refused by Mr Balan!

9 months we stretched out trying to coax her, allowing her time to settle down until one fine day she started screaming and shouting and throwing tantrums - throwing things around the house breaking our cabinets and we sent her back to the agency who suggested counselling ! Turns out she had already planned this over months- she had bought a brand new iPhone, hair iron, clothes from marks and sepcncer, HNM, Mango! Jewellery, watches!

A good 10K RM worth of shopping !
All of this she had been hiding in her bags, and her room since she had a private room and bathroom for herself.

At Impian agency we have seen lots of maids being sent back, almost 5-10 a week through this agency - it always seemed fishy at the turn over we would see.

At the end of the day, we lost hard earned money to this agency, which doesn’t filter helpers, and gives them false hopes of shopping and vacationing in Malaysia at the employers expenses! They have nothing to lose when they break their contract !

There was enough stress and drama involved around both helpers, if anyone wants to know more details u can email me.

Funny thing to note is: the second helper wrote down notes of praises for us and left the notes in her diary here for us to read later.
I have proofs of how well we treated these girls - the kind and caring messages they used to send us whenever we were travelling!

So be careful if you wish to deal with IMPIAN maid agency as they’re giving false hopes to both employers and the helpers they’re bringing in!
Mr Balan insisted we filed a police report over the second helper which we did as we didn’t want to get involved in any troublesome activities from her.

Mr Balan has not been responding to messages or calls, initially he said he was travelling and would be back and speak with us later!
Later he didn’t receive calls or respond to messages.
To date We don't have any proof that this girl has been sent back or not- except a picture taken at the entrance to KLIA which doesn’t prove anything!

THis agency is good at fooling you so please be careful before you hire domestic helpers through them!

I've had my fair shares of dealing with maid agencies for years now and out of all the agencies, Maya Impian is the best thus far. Being a disabled person, there are some special requirements needed in searching for one and Mr Balan has been a great help in making sure that all (if not most ) of those requirements are fulfilled. He and his team runs this agency with lots of honesty, integrity and respect for his clients. If you're looking for a maid agency, this is the place to go.

One of the worst agency. Brought the helper for counselling for the first time but ended in surrendering her to the agency. Ended up everything in 7 months. Not trustable agency. Puzzled what was really happened. The agency was in contact with the helper. Dare to hire a helper from this agency if you want to loose your money.
Not recommended. Not even deserve for a star.
